In January of ‘08 Newsweek declared Hillary ‘did it’,
She found her own voice and “Wow” what a good fit.
Ms. Clinton had stepped full force into her power;
Now she stands resolute, poised in her finest hour.
Hillary is breaking barriers of old for women, ‘tis true.
Where do you stand, what great things are you destined to do?
Great is your destiny, whether in the spotlight or not…
To live in joyful expression of your intentional lot.
We come; we go – with that ‘dash’ in between;
Making sense of our world, the seen and unseen.
To use your heartfelt talent to a purposeful choice,
Is why you are here; to express your passion, your voice.
Through the ripple that expands out beyond where you stand
You literally touch and hold more than the world in your hand.
“Have you found your own voice?” I ask you right here.
If the answer is “no”, then take a look at your fear.
For within that fear is a nugget to treasure;
A key to unlocking much more than mere pleasure.
Hold it aloft, and aloud give it some space,
Express it most heartily, then let it rest in place.
Give your thoughts over to a new role you can play;
The hero in your own story – “yes” – today is your day.
